is a movie directed by s.p. jananathan who made some of the critically acclaimed movies like 'iyarkai' and 'E'. So the expectations too high for this movie and also expected he would definitely make tamil films proud with this movie. Still after the release, peranmai was well received with the audiences for the new concept where the tamil audiences are bored with rowdies and love. With such good name, he himself created shame and for the tamil movies. Audiences are never expected such copy from jananathan, where he didn't change the 5 x 16 ratio of that russian movie. 'The Dawns Here are Quiet' is a film about Nazi and russian farmer who retired from army with five girls. Here jananathan took the same concept by replacing Nazi's with America. Such ''COPYCATS' should not be allowed to make movies again. But for tamil cinema, copying movies from other languages without permission became a habit.
